1. Information We Collect
When you submit a quote request, the site form asks for your name, phone number, email address if you choose to provide it, city, and project details. Project details may include tile-estimator numbers only when you choose to place those numbers in the message before submitting. The form can also pass the active business phone number used for call tracking.
The site’s front-end may add a lead-source value and UTM campaign values from the address you used to arrive at the site. The current send.php handler does not read, retain, log, or send those lead-source or UTM values. It also does not receive a dedicated source-page field. When an HTTP referer is available, it uses only the referer’s domain host (not the full source-page path) for the domain line in the Telegram notification.
The current send.php handler validates the required name, phone, city, optional email, and message; adds the date and time of handling; and sends those values and the derived domain to Telegram. It contains no CRM integration code and does not write CSV lead files or .log lead files. It does not collect or store your IP address. Our hosting provider may, however, create ordinary server or access logs that can include an IP address, date and time, requested URL, and technical request information under the provider’s own operational practices.
2. How We Use Information
We use quote-request information to reply to you, discuss your project, prepare estimates, coordinate scheduling, and communicate by phone, text message, or email about your request. We use the business-phone value to understand which displayed phone number was active when a request was made.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use the website to collect payment-card information, government-issued identification numbers, or other similarly sensitive identification information.
3. Cookies, Storage, and Site Technologies
The site may use first-party sessionStorage in your browser to remember a phone-number source and UTM values during a browsing session. sessionStorage is browser storage, not a cookie, and is generally cleared when the relevant browser session ends. These values may be passed with a form submission by the front end, but the current handler does not retain them.
The tile estimator runs in your browser. Its inputs are not sent anywhere unless you choose to copy or send the estimator summary as part of a quote request.
The site may display a Google Maps embed and a Trustindex reviews widget. Those third parties may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information, and the page that loaded their service, and may use their own cookies or similar technologies under their own privacy policies. Google Tag Manager is currently a disabled placeholder until a real container is configured; Google Analytics is not activated by that placeholder. If Tag Manager or analytics is later enabled, this policy and the site’s notices should be reviewed and updated before activation.
4. How Information Is Shared
The current form handler sends submitted lead details to Telegram through the Telegram Bot API so Winfield Tile Installation can receive and respond to the request. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights, safety, or property, or in connection with a merger, sale, financing, or transfer of all or part of a business.
We do not sell your personal information. Other than the Telegram delivery described above and third-party services you load directly, this policy does not represent that the current handler sends leads to a CRM, records them in CSV files, or keeps UTM or IP data.
5. How We Protect Information
The site is intended to use HTTPS/TLS for website and form traffic. The current handler sends Telegram notifications over HTTPS and does not disable cURL’s default certificate verification. Server-side validation and sanitizing are used for the current form fields before they are included in the Telegram message.
The site configuration includes security headers and denies public HTTP access to .csv and .log files if lead-export files are added later. That configuration does not mean such files currently exist, nor does it replace secure hosting, file permissions, backups, and access controls. Access to lead information should be limited to personnel who need it for the purposes in this policy.
No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. The business owner remains responsible for maintaining hosting configuration, access restrictions, credentials, software updates, and incident-response obligations. If a breach involving covered personal information occurs, we will address notice obligations as required by applicable law, including the Illinois Personal Information Protection Act, 815 ILCS 530.
6. Retention
Winfield Tile Installation’s policy is to retain quote-request information for up to 24 months, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary for an ongoing customer relationship, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, legal obligation, or another lawful purpose. This is a retention commitment, not a claim that every system performs automatic deletion on a particular date.
7. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or opt out of future nonessential communications. We will aim to respond within 45 days after verifying the request as appropriate. Residents of some states may have additional rights under their state privacy laws.
To stop promotional text messages, reply STOP. For help with text messages, reply HELP. Message and data rates may apply. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. These SMS choices do not prevent us from responding to an active service request or from making communications otherwise permitted by law.
8. Children and Third-Party Links
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the site, please contact us so we can review the request.
The site may link to or embed services operated by third parties, including Google Maps, Trustindex, Telegram, and social or review pages. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this policy.
