A black-and-white hexagon mosaic runner set into a large-format marble-look floor in a laundry room.

A mosaic rug set into the floor
The floor is laid in large white marble-look tiles with gray veining. Down the middle runs a mosaic runner about the width of a hall rug: white hexagons scattered with black ones, some grouped into small flower shapes, framed by a black band, a row of black diamonds and a second black band.
The runner leads from the room entrance to the exterior door and marks the walking path. The marble-look tile also continues as a baseboard along the walls, with a thin black line that repeats the border color. Washer and dryer hookups on the left wall show the room’s laundry use.
